Not a sales call

No pitch. No jargon.

Most “free consultations” are a pitch with a calendar link. This isn’t one.

The Diagnosis is a working session. You bring one problem that keeps coming back. We trace it to where it starts. I bring the questions and the tools. You bring the context only you have. “Diagnose before prescribing” is the first rule I work by, and this is where it begins.

You’ll leave with a clearer picture of your problem than the one you arrived with, whether we work together or not.

What we’ll cover

Five things, one session

  • Where the work breaksWe walk one process end to end, as it really runs, and find the step where time, quality or patience starts to leak.
  • The root cause, not the symptomWe separate what you’re seeing from what’s causing it, so you stop treating the same fever every month.
  • What “good” means to your customerWe pin down what the people you serve actually care about, because quality you can’t define, you can’t deliver.
  • Two or three quick winsSmall, specific changes your team can try next week. No budget, no project charter, no permission slip.
  • The honest next stepA project, a training, a few 1:1 conversations, or nothing at all. If you don’t need me, I’ll say so.

30 to 60 minutes, one real problem, and no slides. That’s usually enough to see the shape of it.

Who it’s for

Check the fit first

It’s for you if:

  • You own a business, or lead ops, quality, HR or shared services at a growing BPO, manufacturer, service business or hospital.
  • The same problem keeps coming back, even though your people are good.
  • Growth is coming, and you want the process ready before the volume arrives.
  • You’ve done training before and want this time to stick.
  • You’re a professional or freelancer who wants the 1:1 version. We’ll treat it as your first Clarity Conversation.
  • You’re in Cebu, elsewhere in the Philippines, or anywhere with a decent video connection.

It’s not for you if:

  • You need a certificate quickly. I’m happy to point you to a good course instead.
  • You’re looking for someone to blame. In my sessions, the process is always the first suspect.
  • The decision is already made and you need a consultant to sign off on it.
  • You want a 200-slide deck. You’ll get a short written summary and a clear next step.

Company size doesn’t decide the fit. A willingness to look at how the work actually happens does.

Before. During. After.

No surprises at any stage

  1. Before

You fill in the short form below. I reply personally within 24 hours with a few times and two or three questions to think about. If you have a process map, a report or an example of the problem, bring it. If you don’t, that tells me something useful too.

  2. During

30 to 60 minutes, online or in person in Cebu. We walk one process, separate symptoms from causes, and agree on what “good” means for your customer. I share what I see as we go. No slides, no jargon, no pitch at the end.

  3. After

Within 48 hours you receive a short written summary: the likely root cause, two or three quick wins, and my honest recommendation for a next step, which may be a project, a training or nothing at all. If you want to continue, reply. If not, the summary is yours to keep. I won’t chase you.

The summary is yours either way. Use it with me, use it without me, or use it to convince your boss.

“A clear way forward”

“We initially thought our team lacked a ‘sense of urgency.’ During our discovery call, Jodl asked insightful questions that helped us uncover the root cause. His practical recommendations gave us a clear way forward—and after implementing them, our client satisfaction improved dramatically.”

Tell me what keeps breaking

Four questions, two minutes

Rough notes are fine. I’d rather read what you’d say out loud than what you’d put in a report. I read every request personally and reply within 24 hours.
